Rainbow Flowage Water Levels

Here's a picture of the Rainbow Flowage near Saint Germain. The water is about 15 feet below normal. Imagine the amount of water needed to fill 15 feet over the entire surface of the flowage.

We have had some rains in the past few days, but little based on the amount we need.

Little Saint Germain Lake Boat Ramp Ready to Go!

The Little Saint Germain Lake boat ramp went through a remodel this past spring. Basically, an additional pier has been added and the area at the top of the ramp has been expanded to make turning around and backing up easier. The construction started in April and was complete by the end of May.

Now, our resort boat ramp isn't quite as fancy, but it gets the job done, and it is convenient, being right next to the Popple cabin.

Oh Deer!

This morning, caught this guy getting a little too close to my flowers for comfort. Didn't really have to scare it away, just took a few pics and off it went. Been seeing more deer this year than the past few. We should be seeing this year's fawns with their mothers anytime now. It's a great time of year at the resort, with lots of new life appearing.
